NEWS FLASH
Hi All.
Less than a day to go until fundraising winds up and 2 days until dress rehearsal - can't wait until sunday when I can relax and not have to count to 8 in my head. Holly's toes will get a well earned rest.
Big thank you to Holly for her excellent instruction and Todd for being so forbearing of the HUGE imposition on their domestic bliss
Congratulations to all my fellow dancers for their fantastic fundraising efforts - I can't believe how much money has been raised for cancer sufferers on the Monaro - I'm already thinking of some novel ideas for using it most effectively in the community and will be harrassing the MCCR Committee in the near future
Thank you for all those who have donated to our web page - It's amazing the response!
When I set a target of $4000 I thought "aim high" but this will be surpassed as I know we have had a siginficant amount placed in the various donation boxes around Cooma and it should get us over the line
A big thank you for the staff at the surgery as well as Hook's Pharmacy, Dick Smith, Cooma Physio, Monaro High and The Royal Hotel for collecting on our behalf.
Also the girls at the surgery who have invested in us at the calcutta - make the most of it and we'll try and get a better return on your money than I'm getting on the ASX at the moment
A very big thank you to students and staff at Monaro High who raised over $300 on their pink day for Miss Holly, this all goes to this wonderful cause
For those lucky enough to get a ticket we'll see you on the night, otherwise you can wait and purchase the video!
Bring it on

Activity
Monaro Committee for Cancer Research Incorporated
The Monaro Committee for Cancer Research was formed in 1996 by the daughter of a young Monaro mother who after a 5 year struggle lost her battle with cancer. Since its inception the mcCr has supported cancer outreach services on Snowy Monaro. In 2007 after much lobbying, a local oncology service was introduced to the Cooma Hospital. Local support raised in excess of $100,000 towards this project and today we have a successful outreach oncology service. mcCr is a local voluntary group of dedicated women working towards further cancer support and services for the Snowy Monaro Region.Your support will enable mcCr to continue this assistance for cancer sufferers.
