Welcome to the Dancing With The Cooma Stars 2010! Where: Multi-Function Centre, Cooma Showground When: 28th & 29th May 2010 This event is the brainchild of MCCR Vice President Sandy Schofield and committee member Carolyn Ewart. Thirteen Cooma identities were invited to be ‘stars’ for the evenings and they are partnered by selected dancers from Monaro dance schools and beyond. The ‘stars’ challenge is to raise as much money as possible culminating in a Gala Dinner & Show on the nights of 28th & 29th May. Prizes will be awarded to the Dancing winners and charity winners on both nights. There will be three Judges from Cooma dance schools plus a ‘green room’ hosted by our very own local nursing star, Bronnie Taylor. The Gala Dinners theme is, of course, Black Tie & PINK. Ticket Price $80 HOW DO THE DANCERS WIN? Most funds raised before the big nights – this is where this website comes into play. Contestants are competiting for the most fundraising votes before the event. So please vote for your favourites - $1 equals one vote. Voting closes on Wednesday 26th May so make sure you get in before that. Best performance on each night – all the contestants are out of their comfort zone and will be working very hard to pull off something entertaining on the night. The audience will have a chance to vote, along with the professional panel of judges who will make the final call. Help support Cancer Research by making a donation to your favourite dancer below.
